Bio: Curtis Cecchi is a professional multi-species fishing guide and owner of Fox Valley Outdoors Guide Service operating in Vilas County Wisconsin. He has been a fisherman his entire life and has experience from across the country, from the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of Alaska. Having grown up in Saint Charles, Illinois. It wasn’t until his mid 20s that he discovered Wisconsin’s lake country. With little hesitation he decided to make it his home and fishing his living. In addition to his fishing experience, Curtis holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Biological Sciences and Statistics from the University of South Carolina. He graduated in 2018 with high honors and leadership distinction in research. Curt’s prior career was working for the National Marine Fisheries service as a pacific groundfish observer working in the Bering Sea. Curtis has been working as a professional fishing guide now for four years and plans to take his intuition from his time on the water with him into a fisheries management position in the future.
