Pete Jopke, a graduate from UW La Crosse, is a Water Resources Planner with the Dane County Land and Water Resources Department. Pete has over 27 years of experience working on lake and stream conservation projects much of which includes habitat, pollution reduction strategies, vegetation management, water levels and fisheries. The Yahara Chain of Lakes has a unique challenge due to their vast watershed size and numerous recreational uses.
